Live IV Ketamine infusion in a patient: ua-cam.com/video/XPwbqlzFWLU/v-deo.html
I will show you the most mysterious medical procedures I perform as an anesthesiologist - the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB). In this video, I demonstrate the procedure on a live patient suffering from PTSD and share how it profoundly changed their life.
The stellate ganglion is a bundle of nerves in your neck that plays a crucial role in the fight-flight response, contributing to symptoms like heart rate changes, sweaty palms, and dilated pupils during PTSD flashbacks, hyperarousal, and panic attacks. By numbing these nerves, similar to how a dentist numbs nerves with lidocaine, we can quiet the sympathetic nervous system and potentially provide relief from anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbances, emotional numbness, and more.
Watch the science in action as we perform the SGB on a real patient, who remains awake throughout the procedure. This patient's treatment also included IV Ketamine, administered after the SGB, for synergistic results.
If you or someone you know is struggling with depression, anxiety, or PTSD, it's essential to explore all therapeutic options. SGB and IV Ketamine are powerful therapies that can help uncover your healing potential and reduce reliance on medications. Remember, it's important to thoroughly research and interview the treatment centers you consider, and be aware of the red flags in unscrupulous clinics.
You have more power over your health than you might realize. Watch my other videos for more insights and stay informed about these life-changing therapies.

    I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 14 yrs old. I was super scared of needles and it was the first time getting a needle on my arm, so they let my mom be with me until the anesthesia started working. I woke looking around wondering if my vision was a tiny bit blurry because I just woke up from anesthesia or because I didn’t have my glasses on. The rest of the time and the car ride home, I just quiet. Didn’t felt like talking. But I remember everything from that day surgery. Before the surgery, what I was dreaming, the voices of the doctor when I almost getting ready to wake up and after.

    So true. I was in a bad car crash which shattered my left and right wing along w/ neck damage and for a few months doctors acted like they cared, then it became “why arent you healed completely; how can you have chronic pain. Im cutting you off because you’re a drug seeker!”. Id then be like “i seek drugs because i cant wish off pain, id like my pain to just be a 3-4 at times so i can enjoy life as a 30yr old; i can tolerate those numbers but i cant do anything when im at an 8.”. I found that pain management’s goal is to make sure you are always in pain, there is no management of it from any i saw. “I didnt ask to have pain for life, but thanks CNP and doctors i saw.”

    Every doc I have seen in last 8-10 years has been so busy building a wall up against even considering actual pain meds that they don't even listen to what you are telling them... It is no wonder so many people commit suicide over pain...

  • @roberthooper8883
    @roberthooper8883 22 години тому

    Like everything else - people took a small group of instances (dumb, idiotic addictive people who screw it up for all others) and then applied that to all people... I had a very extensive dental procedure done - dental work being extremely painful and sensitive areas as we all know- I did not know until after that dentist was only going to prescribe tylenol... Did I live? YES- was I in unnecessary agony? YES. WHat is their problem??? Especially on surgery - they have the power to just STOP prescribing it after a short time period and/or if they notice anything wonky with the patient so wth??? I have a dr friend across country- that family gets all the pain meds anytime they want- and I have heard conversations of how one member was taking 4 hydro's daily???? WTH??? Hopefully the system will get sued enough for change...

    We are seeing horrific trend of USA Post Spinal Fusion patients refused proper painkillers after fusion operation for Spondylolisthesis which is a major operation. Patients are also being kicked out of hospitals too soon. Pain that is not managed is dangerous. What is the health system doing to change for the better?

    Aww .. you did the right thing Dr. Kaveh! I'm a patient who likes to have a good rapport and understanding with my doctors. If they ask you questions, they need the answers. Could it be that when one is starting to fall asleep, the speech and/or communication areas of their brand cause a patient to be less inhibited verbally?

Luckily a nurse noticed almost immediately and I fell back asleep. When I woke up my bear was with me again lol

And since this scared me my heart rate sped up, so they new I was awake. The first guy said get her under.... Then someone touched my face and said don't worry, and I was out again. Which was nice because I had felt them doing something in my abdomen, and it wasn't fun.
